IAM Engineer - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Midlands

As an IAM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our internal security systems, focusing primarily on Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of robust security measures within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer expert consultancy on IAM Best Practices, covering technical, governance, and process aspects, to various stakeholders and teams.
• Take charge of developing and maintaining IAM policies and procedures, ensuring comprehensive coverage for all human and non-human users across the client internal security environment.
• Oversee the delivery of the IAM service through designated software and service partners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for IAM processes, fostering adaptability and efficiency to support the evolving needs of the business.
• Act as a point of escalation for any IAM alerts or issues which has been raised by other departments, or potentially from monitoring systems.

What you will Ideally Bring:

• Advanced proficiency in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and its Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of access controls, authentication mechanisms, and identity governance principles within Azure AD
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, with the capability to apply best practices to Azure AD IAM implementations
• Knowledge of SAML/OAUTH protocols
• Knowledge of identity and access management within a DevOps environment, including API Management platforms, containerisation and cloud platforms

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View to Extension)
• Location: Midlands/1x per week
• Day Rate: Up to £550 Per Day (Inside IR35)
