Job Title: IT Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Liverpool, UK

This role is working as part of a leading global online entertainment company, providing innovative gaming solutions and Real Time sports updates. Our client is seeking an IT Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic IT department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a strong passion for technology, and demonstrate proficiency in DevOps processes. Responsibilities include; analysing industry-standard DevOps tools, designing and maintaining IT systems, and providing 2nd & 3rd line IT support. This role offers a hybrid working pattern and requires weekend on-call support on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse DevOps tools and practices.
  • Establish and maintain international collaborations.
  • Design, deliver, and maintain IT systems and DevOps solutions.
  • Administer operating systems and applications.
  • Implement CI/CD workflows and manage hardware platforms.
  • Continuously identify and manage system improvements.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
  • Prioritize tasks and provide on-call support.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a keen interest in IT trends and technological developments. A relevant qualification in Computer Science is advantageous.
