Can you drive forward the quality of BI output by establishing best practices in Power BI?

A lead Power BI Developer is required to join a large, well-known wholesale company based in Southampton. They have recently implemented Power BI from their Legacy tool Qlik, and have a clear roadmap for the business to help improve and modernise their reporting and BI function entirely. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody to be the driving force for change and have full autonomy on the implementation of Power BI across the business. They're keen to find someone who can work collaboratively, as a technical expert in Power BI, to provide ongoing development, training, and support across the organisation. It is important for them to find somebody who has great stakeholder management experience as the right person will be working directly with all senior heads of the business.

Responsibilities

- Liaising with key stakeholders in the business to gather and analyse reporting requirements.

- Creating visually appealing and interactive reports using Power BI.

- Publishing new dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Provide end user training.

- Document new dashboards.

Key requirements:

1. 6+ years of Power BI experience in a commercial setting.
2. Strong Business facing capability.
3. Experience training and championing Power BI.
4. Strong SQL experience.
5. Strong Datamodelling experience.
6. Must be used to working in an agile environment.
7. Self-starter who must be able to work autonomously.
