Full-Time onsite in Hessle, Hull (Monday - Friday)
Job Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work for the emergency services. The role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive work environment through the continual recognition and promotion of the value of EDI within our client and the communities they serve.
You will be required to develop, monitor and review policies and Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) plans to ensure our client, staff and stakeholders engage with and contribute towards equality legislative duties.
Purposefully look for innovative solutions to develop, promote and implement EDI plans throughout the client, utilsing staff forum groups for feedback and creative solutions.
Key requirements:
Operating as an EDI specialist.
Substantial experience in promoting and implementing EDI initiatives.
EDI Accredited training Programme/Training
Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Grade C or above, or, equivalent
Training in EDI practices and principles
Knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector Equality Duty, national guidance, best practice and communicating EDI-based campaigns, consultations and practices
