ESG Assurance Consultant - ESG, Assurance, Audit, Reporting, Frameworks, ACCA - Permanent - London/Remote - £50,000 - £55,000 base + bonus + cash allowance

My client, a leading global consultancy, are seeking an ESG Assurance Consultant too help them grow out their ESG reporting and frameworks assurance business on a permanent basis. Their main objective here is to deliver quality assurance over ESG information, to ensure they are doing their part in improving the overall quality of UK financial and corporate reporting.

This role requires individuals to provide assurance services to clients relating to ESG frameworks as well as ESG reporting. You will also assist clients in increasing their understanding of this space to help them make key business decisions therefore strong stakeholder management/engagement is key for this role. The ideal candidate will also be qualified (ACCA) partnered with a strong passion and knowledge around ESG.

The ideal skill set would include:

• Experience in providing accurate audit and/or assurance - including a detailed understanding of assurance standards such as ISAE 3000
• Understanding of specific challenges in the ESG assurance market (eg greenwashing)
• Detailed knowledge of non-financial reporting processes, internal controls & data
• A real passion for ESG - reporting/frameworks/metrics
• Excellent stakeholder management exposure partnered with a problem-solving attitude when speaking to clients
