. Administer, maintain, support and document Virtual Linux servers.

. Linux systems performance, tuning, and enhancements

. Troubleshoot and resolve Linux server and users environment issues with root cause

. Document processes and procedures to automate common tasks


. 10+ years experience supporting engineering Linux environment

. Exposure to EDA tools like Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor graphics and flexlm Required

. Knowledge of FlexLM license server and Linux Batch systems

. Previous experience supporting a HPC Linux Batch environment

. Knowledge of NIS a must


. Knowledge of VMware a plus

. Knowledge of engineering applications like git, svn, tash, jara is a plus

. Knowledge of system monitoring tools like SNMP, WMI, Nagios a plus

. knowledge of automation tools and scripting, including Puppet, PERL, YUM, bash, kickstart, a plus

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in user support and project coordination

. Ability to meet deadlines, work in a team environment, follow written policies and procedures

. Ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of the organization

. Participate in problem solving and quality improvement activities.

. Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.

. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.


. BS or equivalent and 6+ years of related experience managing and administrating critical Network Infrastructure
